A lot has happened

A lot has happened lately, but last thing first- I FINALLY got the apartment I have bought in Milan- wohoooo! Last weekend I went to pick up the keys and welcome the rather sizeable truck from Ikea with a kitchen, furniture and most importantly two fellas to put it all up! And Gino’s (which is the name of my bf- starting with that one now ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) dad came up to oversee the ordeal- which was highly appreciated.

A bit tricky to see, but the apartment is over two ‘floors’ where the ‘second’ (which is half a floor) is made of crystal, so you see straight through it. So strange, but very effective in sending light around the apt. I absolutely LOVE it, and cannot wait for this upcoming weekend where I will get more of my furniture ๐Ÿ™‚

Clean and ready for use. I will remove the blue plastic this upcoming weekend when I get more furniture.

In other news, this has happened since last time:

I have been to Japan- amazing to see the Cherryblossom bloom, and ate such good food!

I have been to Cittadella, Milan, Rome, Borgo Velino (bfs parents house outside of Rome), Venice, Lake Garda, Oslo, London and Milan!

I have had my dad here for parts of Easter, and the rest we went down to Borgo Velino again.

I have had my mom and her friend to visit for a couple ofย  lovely days.

I have said bye to my boyfriend for three months as he went on duty abroad again during summer.

I have booked tickets to Santorini with a great couple of friends

I have arranged for a weekend on the French Riviera with friends

And I’ve had my lovely Eli in Milan with her amazing little son โค

In short, I have been busy, and so infinetly grateful for everything and everyone that comes to visit, that I can visit, that I have a job I love, that I can miss my boyfriend like crazy and that he’ll be home to enjoy some of the summer in Riccione. That I have people, people, people and people… and a new apartment in Milan ๐Ÿ˜‰ !

Happy week ๐Ÿ™‚
