I don’t listen to many podcasts, but this one below is the one I always go to.
The main reason I don’t listen to podcasts too often, is that I listen to these things in the car, and normally I have an audio book I listen to. I subscribe to Audible, and it does the trick every month. With my subscription they deduct money monthly and I get a credit where I can buy a book or occasionally two for one credit- which is great because all I have to think about, is to find a book I’d like to listen to.
These are my latest ones.
I normally like to listen to informative books in the car, and then read novels or biographies in paper- backs.
But back to podcasts- which are free and thus very available for everyone! This one from Shawn Stevenson, called ‘The model health show’ (and not referring to fashion models, but to the model of health) is just so inspiring.
I love how he balances health with different things, and not just diet and exercise, but mental health, taking care of the planet and so on.
Today I listened to ‘7 stranger things that make you smarter’ and even though these aren’t things that are new to me, it just nicely reminded me to be more attentive to daily actions to switch it up a bit.
To sum today’s podcast up, these are the 7 things:
- Use your non- dominant hand
- Change up your routines
- Dance (I like this one- funny 🙂 )
- Sleep! (I personally cannot stress the important of sleep!)
- Tone down on the TV- watching
- Speaking out loud
I highly recommend to actually listen to it though, since you get the background for why he lists these things.
