Amsterdam: Applesap Music Festival

Amsterdam chilling like champions here! We arrived on Friday afternoon, and of course had to go out just to grab a beer and some wine, topped up with some famous Amsterdam chips.

Beautiful Amsterdam with its canals! And the stairs in the hotel is steep as per normal in Amsterdam.

Saturday started off with a stroll along the canals to have breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien.

The food was good, but compared to the one I have been to in London and New York- a bit disappointing. I had soy yogurt with banana, berries, cranola (raw granola) and tumeric (look at the color of the tumeric, so nice yellow) and a cappuccino (I didn’t find matcha latte which I have seen before in other ones) – that was actually really good and tasty, and I couldn’t even finish it all… The bf had soft boiled eggs and salmon, and he’s always happy when he gets food ❤

And then… then it was off to Applesap festival in Flevopark- so excited to see music live again- too long ago! The weather was a bit off and on, but the experience was great- as a music festival is. This one is mostly Hip Hop and rap, but they did have some chill stages too. Great, great, great food- OMG streetfood people ❤

Tokens to buy beer and food
Yay for beer and parklife
More fries..

Happy peeps

The sun came out too

More fried food, this one was so tasty- from Surinam
Good things come to those who hustle- BOOM
A sea of bikes- so Amsterdamy

The headliner was Lil’ Wayne, but not too impressed by him. What I did really like was Eevee, Dave and 070 Shake- killing it all of them! And the Dutch group Anbu was cool, they owned the stage, but since I didn’t understand anything, the above one were my preferred ones 😉

Here’s a little recap of the festival:
